About Sophia Rose Lauder

Sophia Rose Lauder holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of North Texas, with minor studies in Business and Fashion. Raised as a Protestant Christian, Sophia stepped away from the Church for nearly a decade, exploring New Age spirituality, consciousness, occult traditions, and various alternative interpretations of Christianity, including non-canonical and unorthodox writings about Jesus.

In 2023, Sophia began returning to the Christian faith and entered a year-long discipleship and recovery program through her church, Harris Creek Baptist Church. Her return to the church also began a deeper search for the historical roots of Christianity and for a fuller understanding of the questions that had emerged during her years away. Through continued study of Scripture and Church history, she became particularly drawn to the richness, continuity, and spiritual life preserved within the Orthodox Christian tradition.

Today, Sophia remains a Protestant Christian who is continuing to learn from the historic Church and explore the Orthodox way of life. Her spiritual life is centered on Scripture, repentance, ongoing sanctification, and the lifelong pursuit of deeper union with God.

Alongside her spiritual studies, Sophia has more than 13 years of experience in beauty and wellness and leads a beauty consulting business rooted with holistic intention. Her work is founded on the belief that caring for the body should never come at the expense of caring for the soul. Beauty can be cultivated, the body can be cared for, and wellness can be pursued—but none of these things can replace the deeper work of spiritual transformation.

Through beauty, wellness, Scripture, and Christ-centered living, Sophia encourages women to pursue outward beauty while remembering that true restoration begins within. Her philosophy is simple:

Soul before body.
Beauty as a reflection of what He is restoring within us.
